Who We Are

3P Insurance Services, LLC is a life insurance brokerage based in New York and licensed in multiple states including California. We comply with applicable state insurance privacy regulations, including New York and any other state in which we are licensed. We also adhere to the privacy requirements of the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) of 1999, which mandates that financial institutions protect consumer nonpublic personal information (“NPI”) through privacy notices, opt-out rights, and strict data security safeguards.

 

Information We Collect

  • We collect personal information if you ask us to contact you, if a referral was made on your behalf, or if you subscribe to our blog. That information may include your name, phone number, email, mailing address. While doing business, we may also collect health records, medical history, financial data, and other personal information necessary to allow us to properly and promptly source and find a requested insurance coverage.
  • We may collect information from carriers, medical information bureaus, or other relevant and applicable third parties during the insurance underwriting process. To the extent we receive health-related information in connection with the underwriting process, we treat it as confidential and handle it in accordance with applicable law. Clients authorize the release of medical records to the carrier as part of the application process for underwriting purposes only.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
  • All applications are posted on carriers’ portals, submitted through their third‑party platforms, and guided by the laws of jurisdictions relevant to those carriers.
  • We do not collect application data directly on our site.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your requests and provide brokerage services.

  • To support underwriting and servicing of policies.

  • Information received by phone or email is used only to answer underwriters’ questions or address underwriting concerns.
    – We may also share your information with business partners (e.g., financial advisors, mortgage brokers, or other professional service provider) upon your request and only for the specifically requested purpose.
    – We do not share your information with business partners for marketing, solicitation, or any other purpose without your consent.
    – We do not sell or rent your information.
    – When information is shared with us by a referring partner on your behalf, we use it solely to assist you with your insurance needs and treat it with the same level of care as information you provide to us directly.

  • We treat your information, whether received directly from you or by referral, with care and with respect for your privacy.

  • We may use or disclose information as required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

  • We do not share your nonpublic personal information with non-affiliated third parties for purposes other than those described in this policy, so no opt-out election is necessary.

  • We may only share your information with relevant third parties (e.g., underwriters) who are essential to obtaining coverage.

 

Data Retention

If you become a client, we retain your personal information for the duration of our relationship and for as long as necessary to support any ongoing insurance needs, fulfill legal and regulatory obligations, or assist with future inquiries. If you contact us but do not become a client, we may retain basic contact information for a reasonable period, consistent with applicable state record retention requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time. We will honor such requests to the extent not prohibited by legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

Anything we discuss regarding insurance coverage, including quotes, health history, financial situation, or other sensitive material, will be treated with care and confidentiality.

 

Website Analytics
Our website may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location based on IP address. It does not collect any NPI, your name, email, or any information that identifies you personally.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) to collect this data. IP addresses are automatically anonymized by Google—the full IP address is never stored.
